If the temperature within your home is too low, you could be putting your health at risk. If it's too high, you are likely to have excessive energy bills.

Making your home more energy efficient will help it stay warmer in the winter and also prevent health problems, such as hypothermia. 

 

Help from the Affordable Warmth Network

The Buckinghamshire Affordable Warmth Network provides a free impartial helpline to help with:

  • energy saving tips
  • heating systems; including any financial assistance for upgrades or replacements
  • insulation for loft, cavity wall, solid wall, and draught proofing
  • fuel debt advice
  • switching energy suppliers

The helpline can also post or email information sheets and any other literature that may be of use to you.
